How to take part in the 3rd German EduCamp?

1. Registration on www.educamp.mixxt.de

• Go to www.educamp.mixxt.de
• on the right hand side click on the green button "Hier anmelden"
• choose a nickname (=mixxt ID)
• you have to fill in the following facts in that order:
  • your first name
  • your family name
  • sex
  • your date of birth, for example 27.10.1980
  • your home country
  • your native language
  • your home town/city
  • Dein Passwort: write in your password (two times)
  • Deine e-mail Adresse: fill in your e-mail address (two times)

2. Registration for attending the events

• if you are logged in on www.educamp.mixxt.de, you can register for attending the events
• click on Events on the top of the page
• choose your preferred events:
• Podiumsdiskussion (Panel Discussion on 17th April, 6:30 - 8:30pm)
• EduLounge (17th April, 9:00pm)
• Vorträge und Sessions (lectures and sessions on 18th April, 9 :00am - 5:00pm)
• Evening events: 36. Internat. Jazztage (36th International Jazz festival on 18th April, 8:00pm) + EduCamp Party (18th April, 9:00pm)
• Edu-OpenSpace (19th April, 10:00am - 3:30pm)
• if you have clicked on one event, you have to press the button "Ich nehme teil" on the right hand side of the page

4. How to get to the EduCamp in Ilmenau

Here is Ilmenau/Germany.

Arrival by train

You can arrive in Ilmenau without any problems by train. Every hour you can go by train or by bus from Erfurt to Ilmenau. The ride takes about 60 minutes. From the railway station in Ilmenau you can go on foot.You have to walk through the Langewiesner Straße (approx. 5 Minutes). Then you have to turn left into the Ehrenbergstraße and walk until you reach the campus of the TU Ilmenau.

Arrival by car

Direction Frankfurt/Dresden/Berlin/Munich (motorway A4)

Leave the motorway A4 at the intersection "Erfurter Kreuz" and take the motorway A71 in direction "Schweinfurt". Exit the motorway A71 at the slip road "Ilmenau Ost" and turn right onto the federal highway B87 towards Ilmenau. Turn right onto B88 towards "Technische Universität". After passing the town sign of Ilmenau and driving about 1500 meters ("K+B Elektrofachmarkt" at the left hand side), turn right into the Ehrenbergstraße towards the campus of the TU Ilmenau. After 800 meters you'll reach the campus.

Direction from Coburg/Suhl (federal highway B4)

From direction Coburg/Suhl (federal highway B4): Pass the roundabout and exit towards Weimar. At the third traffic light turn to right hand side and follow the federal highway B88 towards Rudolstadt/Königssee. Pass the railway. After about 500 meters turn left into the Ehrenbergstraße towards the campus of the TU Ilmenau. After 800 meters you'll reach the campus.
